Argon was founded in 1972 producing procedural guidewires, gradually expanding to introduce disposable packs, special procedure kits and trays for Cardiology and Critical Care procedures.

This led to further expansion of the product portfolio through acquisitions of companies and products in the interventional vascular, interventional oncology areas, including clot management, biopsy and drainage segments.
